Earrings I
Mon. May 17, 6:30 - 8:00 Learn the basic techniques and tools for earring fabrication and come home with at least one pair of earrings. Basic design ideas, construction methods, and materials and tools will be covered.
Basic Bead Stringing
Mon. May 24, 6:30 - 8:00
Learn to design and build a necklace that is the length you want, drapes well, and holds up to everyday wear. Learn the proper techniques for measuring, spacing, and finishing. Basic design ideas, construction methods, and materials and tools will be covered.
Earrings II - Two Tier Earrings,
Mon. May 31, 6:30 - 8:00
Expand on the basic techniques for earring fabrication and learn to make 'eye-pins' so that you can make two-tier earrings or your own custom design. Come home with at least one pair of earrings.
The Earring Workshop,Sat. June 5, 10:00 - 12:30
This full morning workshop combines Earrings I and II, as described above. Workshop fee: $45.
Beaded Charm Necklace
Mon. June 7, 6:30 - 8:00
Design and create your very own necklace with beads or charms that dangle freely from a chain. We will discuss design ideas such as focal beads, color, and texture. Basic construction methods, materials and tools will be covered.
Silk 'Collage' Bracelet Mon. June 14, 6:30 - 8:00
Create your own masterpiece with a cluster of beautiful silk cords, lovely clasp and your own beaded drops for a stunning and totally unique design. Basic construction methods, materials and tools will be covered. Earrings I and II recommended as prior experience. Materials will cost approximately $20. Please register by May 31.
The Integrated Bead Necklace,
Mon. June 21, 6:30 - 8:00
Learn the techniques to alternate chain and beads to create a custom design that fully integrates beads into your necklace or bracelet. Basic wire working techniques and tools will be covered. Earrings I and II recommended as prior experience.
Tear Drop Beads Bracelet
Mon. June 28, 6:30 - 8:00
Design and build a bracelet (or necklace) out of gorgeous handmade teardrop-shaped beads. Choose from an almost endless selection of bead colors - I will be taking color requests upon registration so that I may special order your beads. Basic stringing methods, materials and tools will be covered. An additional materials fee of $35 is required at registration for your strand of beads and sterling silver clasp. Please register by June 14.

Classes are designed for beginners; all levels welcome. Tools are provided. Beads and materials are purchased separately. You may choose from a wide selection of glass, natural stone, and sterling silver beads, and findings during class.

It was an amazing event on a surprisingly sunny day! Below you will see a slide show of the fun along with a list of the winners of the jewelry.

Congrats to the seven winners of the jewelry raffles, and a BIG congratulations go to Elaine Cooper of N. Windham CT. who won the charity raffle. She had decided to donate all the money raised to the Childrens Shriners Hospital in Springfield, MA. I called to tell them and they were thrilled. Thank you to all who gave a little bit to help.
